Voice of Business presents Teer BRANDrill 2017-The Ultimate Branding Showdown has finally reached its destination and the most awaited finale round took place on Sunday, 12th March, 2017at Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building, University of Dhaka.
Participants from all over the Bangladesh participated in the 1stonline round and from there 50 deserving participants got through the 2nd round. And after a neck to neck TVC making competition, 10 teams made it through the Final round. The winner of the Teer BRANDrill 2017 received BDT 1 lakh and 1st runner up and the 2nd runner up were awarded with BDT 60,000 and 40,000 respectively as prize money.
The judges of the competition were Shoeb Md. Asaduzzaman, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing, City Group Ltd., Mohammed K Haque, General Manager of Marketing Communication, bKash and Md. Ismail Hossain, Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka.
The champion team of the competition is Second String from Bangladesh University of Professionals. The 1st runner up team is Forza from IBA, University of Dhaka and 2nd runner up team is Crime Master Gogo from North South University.
Teer BRANDrill 2017 is a branding based competition which is designed to give the students of different Universities from all over the Bangladesh a clear conception and better understanding of Branding. According to Shoeb Md. Asaduzzaman, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing, City Group Ltd., “A competition of such stature will help to develop and enhance the Branding knowledge of young business minds.”
Chief patron of VoB and Dean of Faculty of Business Studies, Prof. Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam was the chief guest of the event.
VoB is the largest student run publication of the country is run by the students of 8 departments of Faculty of Business Studies business, University of Dhaka, known as the highest echelon of academic excellence in Bangladesh.
